In the last post we talked about the most extreme form of health promoting diet…breatharians. These are people who believe they can survive without eating at all. Of course this is not possible and these people are frauds (as any time they have been monitored closely they are caught getting food and drink). Nobody really takes these types of people seriously anyway.
But what about all of the other weird diets that sound just believable enough for a try? Lets try to name as many of them as possible and see what we come up with. I’ll start with the ones I can think of off the top of my head in no particular order.
Blood Type Diet
Ketogenic (extremely low carb)
Specific Nutrient Ratio Diets (ex: zone style 40/30/30)
Raw Foods Diet
Fruititarian (only eating fruit)
