Rock guitar pointers for the would be guitarist...

One of the most worrying things amongst guitarists is fear.It is not the physical fear. The Jazz guitar genre happens to be one of the most fearful amongst many guitarists....

Hi John/Tommy

This is an interesting point.

I am beginning a muscle building program after just finishing using eat-stop-eat to drop 9 lbs of body fat within 12 weeks.

Just like with eating to loose weight is it ok to assume that as long im taking in slightly more calories than my body uses, eating 'sufficient' amounts of protein and weight training to promote muscle growth then I will put on lean mass no matter what I eat?

Its so frustrating to read 'manuals' etc that state that you have to eat 'clean' to avoid putting on too much fat when you are trying to build muscle when the answer lies in the additional quantity of food people eat.

Best regards

dear john,

your posts are always a good read.

though I find it slighty sarcastic that you claim christian bales body-wise changes are due to pure will power. just a couple posts ago you explained that getting massive like that was unnatural and an unrealistic goal without using durgs. Am I wrong?

cheers

I always knew the meso, ecto, endo thing was BS... It's really nothing more than a psychological standpoint I think. Its just how you view food and your self-image.

When a person is a so-called ecto, its really a person who has the habit of being super-concious of their eating, they literally suck every atom of every bite they chew. You know a person is an ecto even if you never meet them in real life and you just chat with them online... How? When they say they're off to have dinner, they're off for like 30 minutes... Most so called endos gorge food... When they say they're off for dinner, they're back before you can ask what they're having.
