This is a slight departure from the regular posts here but I think you’ll like it.
Today over at the Adonislifestyle blog Brad Howard and I posted the first part of our two part interview with the winner of our Adonis Effect transformation contest Jason Haynes.
If you’re part of the Adonis Lifestyle community you already know who Jason is and why he’s our star profile today.
For those of you who don’t, I think a quick look at his pictures makes the point better than I can with words.

You know i support this forum and your methods, but if im not mistaking, this guy has been doing P90x for years, he even won a price in the Million Dollar Challenge from Beachbody.

Mike,
I think you’re mistaken. Jason has been in our forums and through two of our contests, and I’ve been communicating with him on a regular basis for the past 9 months.

Let’s be nitpicky here for a sec (because no one is perfect). Would Jason benefit from some ab exercises to add ab definition? His lower abs are not as well defined as the rest of his body, and he’s clearly really lean already.

User,
A) It’s just a picture and the resolution isn’t the greatest. Jason is freakin’ ripped (he sent me multiple after pics this is just one of them)
B) Definition comes from losing fat not doing more exercises. Also upper and lower abs cannot be targeted as much as you might think. So there is no prescription for working them separately, they actually function as one unit.
C) If you’ve been around someone who is in contest shape (as Jason is here) you’ll understand that it doesn’t necessarily translate on a digital photo without working on the lighting (this is obviously take on a beach with no supporting lighting)
Keep in mind your making assessments and judgments based on a simple digital photo that can never really capture what his real conditioning will look like in person.
This wasn’t taken during a professional photoshoot that you might be accustomed to seeing in fitness magazines (in which case you can really see every little shred of definition in someones physique)

[...] those who are supportive and don’t tell those who aren’t. I know Jason Haynes kicks people whom he doesn’t feel are a good influence out of his social circle altogether [...]
