Imagine if the devil came along and offered you the following deal:
A life of riches, fame and luxury if you could build 5 pounds of muscle over the next 28 days:

But if you can’t build 5 pounds in a month you’ll lose your job and end up flat broke for the rest of your life (and of course he owns your soul.)
A. Do you take the deal?
B. If so how would you go about building the muscle?
Please answer in the comment section below.

10mg dianabol per day should do it. I realize some people are against steroids, but then, if you’re dealing with the devil..

If the devil came and offered me a deal I would counter-counter-counter and counter offer until HE left ME alone. By the time I was done with him, he would be convinced that I didn’t exist..lol. Seriously though, I’d never bargain with my body, especially when it comes to building muscle.

I’d move into the gym and lift as much and as often as I could handle!

I don’t take the deal because even with gear it’s not going to happen. See Lyle McDonald’s excellent blog http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/muscle-gain/whats-my-genetic-muscular-potential.html

@Ken
I think that McDonald was talking about what *natural* bodybuilders could do. It’s completely common for guys on Dianabol to gain more than 5 lbs in a *week*. I’ve done it.
But it’s cool that you linked to that article. I read it a week or so ago and I was reflecting on how it related to the “Adonis Effect,” and how the message–that “your natural genetic potential is *way* lower than you think, in fact, you’re probably about there already, so get a new paradigm”–is becoming more and more clear on the blogosphere. It’s a message that needs to get through, IMO.

I would take one from the books of Chuck Norris and punch him in the throat. After that I may or may not take his girl home w/ me, depending on how I felt…

I would take creatine and increase my water intake a bit. I would also increase the volume of lifts a bit while aiming to get progressively stronger.
Even though I’m not big into squats and deadlifts…they are great at building muscle…almost too good in that it is hard to fit into normal pants once you get proficient in these lifts (which is why I avoid them these days).
So if I needed to put on 5 pounds of muscle in order to get rich and famous I’d work these big lifts hard.
Rusty
PS: I would drop these lifts as soon as I got my reward, so I could fit into my jeans and dress pants again!

I have no idea, do you?
