This is so very true. As a 49 year old woman who has struggled with weight (dieting, losing, gaining it all back, plus more) my entire life, I had about decided I was incapable of losing weight gain. I weighed more than ever and carried weight in new places. I figured my metabolism was shot and being in peri-menopause, the weight wasn't going to come off again. Finally I decided in August 2012 that I HAD to try again and failure was not an option. As of Saturday morning (2-23-13), I have lost 61 pounds. When I lose 9.5 more lbs, I will be back to my lowest adult weight. It was at that point I always gave up and figured I could go no lower. This time I'm not giving up! I would like to lose another 18.5 lbs, maybe even 23.5. I will be 50 in April, but I feel so much younger than I did a few years ago. It IS possible to lose weight and start changing the shape of your body!
